Koku Anyidoho Criticizes NDC’s Overuse of Press Conferences Amid Bawumia’s Active Campaigning

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has voiced concerns over the party’s campaign strategy ahead of the 2024 general elections.

In a recent statement, Anyidoho compared the campaign activities of the NDC to those of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He criticized the NDC for heavily relying on daily press conferences while Bawumia is actively engaging in campaign activities.

Anyidoho expressed his disappointment, stating that the NDC’s frequent press conferences have diminished the effectiveness of this communication tool.

He accused the party of abusing the power of press conferences by prioritizing them over direct campaigning efforts.

“While Bawumia is tirelessly campaigning, the NDC seems content with holding daily press conferences, thereby undermining the potency of this communication method,” Anyidoho remarked.

Throughout his comments, Anyidoho has lauded Bawumia’s campaign efforts while openly criticizing the NDC’s presidential candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama.
