Kumasi Asante Kotoko head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, chose to focus on the positives following a goalless draw with Accra Hearts of Oak.
In his post-match interview, Zito, who was coaching Kotoko for only the second time after replacing Dr. Prosper Ogum, acknowledged his team’s missed opportunities but remained upbeat about the draw. This result extends Kotoko’s unbeaten streak against Hearts to five matches in the Ghana Premier League, with Kotoko having secured four consecutive wins leading up to the derby.
Currently sitting fourth in the league with 51 points, Kotoko are just three points behind leaders Nations FC (54 points).
Zito shared his thoughts on the match, reflecting on the missed chances but highlighting the importance of the point earned in the intense rivalry against Hearts of Oak.
