Ghanaian musician Sista Afia has shared her thoughts on romance, music, and balancing her personal life in a recent interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz.
She emphasized the importance of keeping work and personal life separate, stating, “Oh never ever. It will never happen to have an affair with my manager. It has never happened at my side. It will never happen. Work is work. I don’t know how to mix work with pleasure. It is very difficult for me. I’ve never tried it though, but I feel like it won’t work.”
However, Sista Afia noted that she would be open to a relationship with a man who wants to support her, though she hasn’t reached that point yet. “If a man comes into my life and wants to help me, why not? I’ve not gotten there because a lot of people think I already have it. That’s the mentality. They don’t even know I need it more than they do,” she explained.
She also revealed that she keeps her personal life private, saying, “You can be close to somebody that I’ve dated for years. You might not even know I’ve dated the person, unless I tell you.”
Lastly, Sista Afia confirmed that she is signed to her own record label and has a manager.
