Nigerian musician Paul Okoye, known professionally as Rudeboy, has announced plans to take legal action against a social media user who accused him of sexually molesting a former domestic worker.

Rudeboy firmly denied the accusation, calling it defamatory and false.

The controversy began after photos from the 25th birthday celebration of his wife, Ivy Ifeoma, circulated online. Initial discussions centered on the couple’s 18-year age gap, but the conversation escalated when an X (formerly Twitter) user alleged that Rudeboy had “raped/coerced” a domestic worker—claiming she was significantly younger—and accused him of removing his then-wife and sister-in-law from the house when the incident came to light.

The post quickly gained traction and went viral, sparking widespread debate on social media.

Responding via X, Rudeboy categorically dismissed the allegations and issued a warning to the account holder, vowing to pursue legal consequences using “every necessary means.”

In his statement, he wrote:

“@chubbiedivah if you like go private, leave X!! I will find you. I will use every necessary means—power, resources, and money!!! You will face the law; I will use you to set an example!! … your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space. To everyone that brought my attention to her tweet … thank you.”

His response has triggered mixed reactions online—while some users support his decision to seek legal redress, others have expressed concern over the aggressive tone of his message.
