Emerging artist Trae, known by his stage name Space Lxvvy, is carving out a unique place in the music scene, drawing on a rich family heritage and a deep desire to express raw, authentic emotion.
With a sound that defies traditional genres and a deeply personal approach, Space Lxvvy is resonating with audiences looking for meaning and vulnerability in music. Inspired by his mother’s vocal talent and his grandmother’s musical legacy, he sees his journey as part of something bigger.
“I just want to continue the family legacy and make them proud,” he shares.
His musical influences are diverse—ranging from Slum Village, Michael Jackson, A$AP Rocky, and Travis Scott, to 070 Shake, UGK, Erykah Badu, Linkin Park, and Lil Uzi Vert. His work fuses hip-hop, R&B, and alternative elements into emotionally driven soundscapes.
“I try to stay honest and open. My goal is to create something enjoyable without straying from what I feel,” he explains.

Space Lxvvy’s creative spark often comes from emotional experiences or favorite songs that move him. While he began with childhood piano lessons, his true instrument is the microphone—a space for healing and release.
“Music is therapy for me. I trust the mic with my thoughts more than I trust most people,” he says.
His breakout track, “Miami Misty” featuring Priince K, captures the essence of his early artistic energy and remains a fan favorite. A major milestone came in 2022, when over 100 fans attended SK WRLDWIDE’s debut show.
“That moment confirmed it wasn’t all for nothing.”
While the business side of music has presented hurdles, he’s adapted by leveraging social media (@sklxvvy) to build an audience beyond his personal network.
“Social media has been the best way for people who’ve never met me to find the music,” he notes.
His debut album, Enigma., released on May 23, 2025, faced initial streaming setbacks but is scheduled to relaunch this summer. Despite challenges, Space Lxvvy remains focused on building a timeless catalogue that encourages honesty and inner strength.
Looking ahead, he hopes to collaborate with some of his idols, including Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Rocky, and Travis Scott, while staying true to his purpose:
“I want to make music that makes the world better.”
His collaborator, Priince K, shares this vision, highlighting the emotional depth they bring to their work.
To rising artists, Space Lxvvy offers this advice:
“Be true to yourself. Do what feels right. Don’t chase trends. You only lose if you quit.”
Balancing music with life’s demands isn’t easy, but patience and consistency keep him grounded.
“I want my music to be a safe space—where people can feel whatever they’re feeling without shame.”
You can follow his journey on Instagram (@sklxvvy) and stream his music on all major platforms. With more projects on the way, Space Lxvvy is poised to make a lasting impact—one honest, heartfelt song at a time.
