Ghanaian singer Darkovibes has shared a surprising dream involving Dancehall star Shatta Wale and how it has shaped his approach to his music career.
According to Darkovibes, the dream occurred during a period when he was frequently travelling to promote Ghanaian music internationally. In it, Shatta Wale advised him to scale back his travels and focus on building his music locally first.
“Every year around this time, we try to export Ghanaian music to the world through travelling, but for the past two to three years, I had a dream where Shatta told me I travel too much and should stay in the country to push my songs locally,” he explained.
What made the dream even more remarkable, Darkovibes noted, was that Shatta Wale had already given him the same advice in real life, both directly and through intermediaries.
“I swear on my dead parents, he had already told me in person and even sent the message through other people, so I was shocked when he still came to tell me again in my dream,” he revealed.
Although he has not personally discussed the dream with Shatta Wale, Darkovibes shared the experience with other industry professionals.
Since then, the singer says he has deliberately cut down on international travel, redirecting his energy toward entertaining fans within Ghana and strengthening his local fan base before pursuing further global opportunities.
He also expressed gratitude to industry elders who have guided him, emphasizing how much he values their mentorship and advice.
