Gospel musician Ceccy Twum has revealed that her songs have touched and transformed many lives, sharing that one of her tracks once helped revive a patient from a coma.
In an interview, the award-winning singer explained that her mission has never been about chasing awards or fame, but about allowing her music to serve as a channel of God’s power.
“I thank God that my songs are reaching far and that people receive anointing through them. If it were about awards, some of us would have stopped singing long ago. My greatest reward is hearing testimonies of how my songs have changed lives,” she said.
Ceccy recalled numerous touching stories from fans — including a woman who said her song ‘Nyame Aye Awie’ helped her overcome anxiety and pass her exams, and another who testified that the same song helped her secure a visa after multiple rejections.
She added, “One day, I got a call from Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. Someone told me that a patient who had been in a coma woke up — and the first thing he did was sing that song.”
Ceccy Twum said such testimonies renew her faith and remind her that her music is a vessel of God’s power and grace.
“When you hear things like that, it strengthens your spirit and reminds you that God is truly working through you,” she added.
