Nigerian actress Anita Joseph has raised concerns on social media after sharing an emotional message that appears to confirm reports about the possible end of her five-year marriage to Michael Fisayo.
The news was initially reported by SDK Blog, which claimed the marriage had collapsed and highlighted the personal struggles Anita faced during the union.
Sources close to the couple revealed that Anita endured two heartbreaking pregnancy losses—a miscarriage and a stillbirth—while married.
The same sources also allege recurring domestic abuse. Although Michael maintained a calm public image, he reportedly had frequent anger outbursts, fueled by alcohol, smoking, and laughing gas, sometimes resulting in physical assaults toward Anita, who would often forgive him afterward.
Additional reports point to repeated infidelity, with friends allegedly advising Anita to leave the marriage long ago.
While Anita did not directly confirm the rumors, her Instagram post hinted that the reports may be true. In her message, she expressed gratitude to those who offered love and prayers and indicated that she is still healing and not yet ready to share her full story.
