NPP Kpandai Youth reject court-ordered election rerun

The Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kpandai Constituency of the Northern Region has rejected the High Court’s directive for a rerun of the parliamentary election, calling the ruling unfair and unconstitutional.

According to the group, the petition challenged results from only 41 polling stations, making a constituency-wide rerun beyond the scope of the case.

Speaking to the press, NPP Kpandai Constituency Youth Organizer Joseph Laadir described the decision as unjust and contrary to the principles of fairness and due process. He noted that while the youth are ready for any outcome, they remain confident of winning if a rerun is held.

He further encouraged supporters to stay calm, resolute, and committed, assuring them that the NPP will emerge victorious even if the court does not overturn its decision.
