North Dayi Gets New Ultramodern DVLA Office

The Member of Parliament for North Dayi, Joycelyn Tetteh, has inaugurated a new ultramodern Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Ultra-Premium Service Office to enhance access to efficient transport-related services for residents.
Strategically located within the constituency, the facility enables residents to obtain driver’s licences, register vehicles, and access other DVLA services without travelling long distances to nearby districts.
Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Joycelyn Tetteh described the project as a significant milestone in improving public service delivery in the area. She noted that the new centre will save residents time and money while helping to strengthen compliance with road safety regulations.
“This ultramodern DVLA office reflects our commitment to bringing essential services closer to the people. It will provide our youth, commercial drivers, and vehicle owners with timely and professional services,” she said.
DVLA CEO Julius Niikwei praised the MP for her contribution to making the centre possible, highlighting that the facility is equipped with advanced technology to deliver fast and reliable services and reduce the workload on DVLA offices in surrounding districts.
Traditional leaders, transport operators, assembly members, and community residents who attended the ceremony commended the MP for her ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and development in North Dayi.
