In a historic leap for Ghana’s public service and gender representation in leadership, the Ghana Institute of Safety and Environmental Professionals (GhISEP) proudly commends the appointment of Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong as the first-ever female Chief Fire Officer (CFO) of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

Officially assuming office on March 14, 2025, CFO Sarpong’s elevation marks a transformative milestone — both a personal triumph and a national symbol of progress toward gender equity in emergency and public safety leadership.
