The Adentan Circuit Court has granted Evans Eshun, widely known as Ebo Noah, bail of GH¢100,000 with two sureties, one of which must be backed by either a landed property or a vehicle. The matter has been adjourned to March 18, 2026, for further hearing, confirmed his lawyer, Emmanuel Sarfo.

Eshun, a 33-year-old private security guard, was remanded into police custody on January 2, 2026, and was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at a government health facility before his next court appearance.

The evaluation was mandated when he appeared before Her Honour Angela Attachie, who had initially set his reappearance for January 15, 2026.

Prosecutors allege that between August and December 2025, Ebo Noah posted a series of videos on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube under the handle @Ebonoah, claiming that the world would be destroyed by a flood on December 25, 2025.

In the videos, he reportedly stated that he was building an ark to save people from the predicted catastrophe.
