The Church of Pentecost, Ho SSNIT Flat District, in collaboration with its PEMEM and PENSA ministries, has organized a major free medical outreach for residents and traders at the Ho Central Market as part of its Missions and Diakonia initiative.
The program offered essential healthcare and spiritual support to community members, particularly those with limited access to medical services.
Activities included door-to-door engagement in market stalls, shops, and surrounding communities; general medical consultations; vital checks such as blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring; typhoid and malaria testing; free NHIS registration and renewals; eye screenings; mental health assessments; and counselling and prayer sessions.
Speaking to Adom News on behalf of the Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Eric Nyamekye, and the Ho Area Head, Apostle Emmanuel Agyei Kwafo, Pastor Peter Adams noted that the initiative reflects the church’s mission to address both the spiritual and physical needs of the community.
