A Nissan Frontier was completely destroyed by fire after it veered off the road and crashed into a tree near Brekumanso on thec road.
The accident occurred when the vehicle flipped into a bush, sparking a fire that spread to surrounding vegetation.
Firefighters from Asamankese, led by Station Officer II Aboagye Ernest, along with support from the Suhum Fire Station, arrived at the scene and managed to control the blaze by 13:45 hours.
Three passengers, including the driver and a woman, sustained minor injuries and were treated at the Asamankese Government Hospital.
The Eastern Regional Minister, Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey, praised the firefighters for their quick response and assured the public that the government would continue to support emergency services.
