A Level 400 student from Gambaga College of Education in the North East Region has been fatally shot by unknown assailants. As a result, classes have been suspended today, March 13th.
The college administration has confirmed the incident, revealing that the student was discovered with suspected gunshot wounds outside the school’s perimeter.
While the motive behind the killing remains unclear, sources from JoyNews indicate that authorities believe it may be connected to the ongoing violence in Bawku. The police have been notified, and the Gambaga Chief Palace has called for a meeting with the school’s Principal for further discussions.
