Parliament has successfully passed the Ghana Boundary Commission Bill, 2023, following its third reading on December 18, 2024.

Major General Dr. Emmanuel Wekem Kotia, the Commissioner General of the Ghana Boundary Commission, expressed his optimism about the bill’s passage, stating that it will empower the Commission to manage boundary-related issues with greater authority.

Dr. Kotia further emphasized that the law aligns the Commission’s mandate with international best practices, strengthening its ability to handle boundary matters efficiently.
