Popular comic actor Kwadwo Nkansah, known professionally as Lil Win, has issued a public apology to colleague Martha Ankomah, seeking to resolve a GHS 5 million defamation lawsuit filed against him.
During a live TikTok session with his three legal representatives, Lil Win apologized for a viral video that allegedly tarnished Martha Ankomah’s reputation, particularly her role as a GTP brand ambassador.
Addressing his 2.5 million followers, Lil Win urged them to help him reach out to Martha Ankomah to accept his apology. “I admit fault and ask for leniency, being a first-time offender,” he said. “I pledge to avoid defamatory statements in the future and hope to work with her on upcoming projects.”
Initially, the case was headed for court, with Martha Ankomah seeking GHS 5 million in damages. However, Lil Win’s failure to appear in court complicated the matter.
Despite this, Lil Win’s public apology and the involvement of his legal team suggest that both parties may resolve the dispute amicably, potentially paving the way for future collaborations.
