Two women narrowly escaped a life-threatening situation in an accident on the Ashaiman stretch of the Tema Motorway at approximately 5 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Footage of the incident reveals an overturned saloon car that skidded off the road following light rainfall earlier that morning.
Reports from Citi News indicate that both women were inside the vehicle during the crash and sustained serious injuries. Eyewitnesses acted swiftly, rushing the victims to the hospital for immediate medical care.
Onlookers stated that the car was speeding when it lost control, veering off the road before somersaulting into a nearby bush.
The victims are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
