Renowned radio host, Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah, has weighed in on the recent accident involving Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako’s son, emphasizing the need for accountability and responsible parenting.

Mensah cautioned against attributing the tragic incident to supernatural forces, instead pointing to careless parenting and reckless upbringing as the root cause. He stressed that individuals, particularly men of God, must take responsibility for their children’s actions rather than shifting the blame.

“I know they will come and say it is the devil that is attacking Salifu Amoako through his son, but the reality is that it is not true. No devil is attacking anyone. It is a result of bad parenting and irresponsible upbringing that has led us here,” Mensah stated.

He drew parallels with another high-profile case, citing the example of Duncan Williams’ son. “This guy smokes weed, and instead of putting him in his place, Christians are of the view that it is the devil that is attacking his family because of the work he does.”

The accident, which occurred on Saturday, October 12, 2024, in East Legon, resulted in the fatalities of two 12-year-old children. According to police reports, two crash victims have been treated and released, while one remains hospitalized.

Prophet Amoako’s son, the suspect driver, was involved in the collision between his Jaguar SUV and an Acura. The police have taken the suspect’s parents into custody to assist with the ongoing investigation.
