Renowned gospel musician Empress Gifty has made a poignant disclosure about her upbringing, revealing a deeply personal aspect of her life.
In an intimate interview with Accra-based Channel One TV, Empress Gifty opened up about her complicated family history, specifically her relationship with her biological father.
“I don’t know my father,” she confessed. “I didn’t see my dad. He is dead.”
Empress Gifty revealed that her biological father’s name is Andoh, but unfortunately, she never had the opportunity to meet him.
Despite this emotional void, Empress Gifty expressed gratitude for the presence of her stepfather in her life. “I was blessed to have a stepfather who treated me as his own daughter,” she said.
