Ghanaian gospel singer Empress Gifty has voiced her disapproval of the common practice among Ghanaians of depending on relatives or friends living abroad for financial support. In her remarks, she challenged the notion that life is significantly easier for those living overseas.
“Being abroad doesn’t mean you’re in heaven. Life is a struggle everywhere,” Empress Gifty stated.
The gospel artist urged Ghanaians to focus on personal effort and hard work rather than relying on monetary assistance from overseas.
“They are working hard to earn a living, so you should do the same. Use your hands to work and stop relying on others,” she emphasized.
