Former President John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, is set to officially kickstart his presidential campaign by filing his nomination papers on Monday, September 9, 2024.
According to Joyce Bawah Mogtari, spokesperson for the Mahama campaign, this milestone marks a significant moment for the NDC as it prepares to build a better future for all Ghanaians.
The Mahama campaign is built around a vision of inclusivity and economic recovery, with a focus on creating jobs, promoting accountability, driving development, and ensuring a brighter future for every citizen.
As Mahama gears up for the elections, he will embark on a four-day tour of the Bono Region, starting on Sunday, September 8.
The #Mahama4Change2024 tour will take him to all 12 constituencies, where he will engage with traditional councils, religious leaders, and the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.
A highlight of the tour is a youth forum at the Sunyani Technical University, where Mahama will share his vision for revitalizing the economy and creating job opportunities through innovative policies and initiatives.
With a promise to spur growth and development, Mahama is poised to inspire hope and change in the hearts of Ghanaians.
