Vice President and NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia made a passionate plea to Ghanaians to seize their democratic power and actively participate in the upcoming December 2024 polls.
Addressing the Oguaa Fetu Afahye festival, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the significance of elections as the bedrock of Ghana’s democracy, where citizens can shape their future and hold leaders accountable.
He urged Ghanaians to cherish this hard-won right and use it to advocate for pressing issues like education, employment, healthcare, and the environment.
By making informed decisions at the polls, citizens can take control of their destiny and build a brighter future.
Dr. Bawumia also called for a peaceful and respectful electoral process, rejecting violence and divisive rhetoric in favor of constructive dialogue and celebration of diversity.
As the festival brought people together, he reminded attendees to embrace their heritage and work towards a united and prosperous Ghana, inspired by the values of the Oguaa Fetu Afahye.
