Ghanaian musician Kweku Darlington has disclosed that he is a virgin and has never been involved in any sexual relationships. In an interview on Joy Prime, the Kumasi-based rapper shared that his sole focus in life is his music, which he believes helps him maintain concentration and avoid romantic distractions.
During the discussion about his new single, “Grateful to Your Ex,” Darlington was asked about his romantic experiences. He responded, “I’ve not even dated before. I think I’m the only virgin left in Ghana right now. I’ve been on this earth for more than 20 years, and I’ve never slept with any lady. I have a mission on this earth just to do music.”
Darlington clarified that the themes in his latest song are not derived from his personal experiences, as he has never been in a romantic relationship. Instead, he explained that the song is intended to resonate with those who have experienced breakups, encouraging them to appreciate their past relationships.
The artist also emphasized that his primary focus is not on winning awards or gaining nominations. Instead, he aims to produce music that is impactful and lasting. “I just want to make good music; people listen to my songs; I get to perform on shows; I get my money; and I create deals with people,” he said.
