NDC Vows to Reclaim Every Stolen Asset in 2024 Election Pledge

As Ghana approaches the December 7 general elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced a firm commitment to retrieving any state property misappropriated during the current administration.

Osman Ayariga, the NDC’s Deputy Youth Organiser and leader of the newly established Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Brigade, declared that if the NDC secures victory, recovering unlawfully acquired assets will be a top priority.

Speaking in an interview, Ayariga emphasized that the party’s mission is to return all misappropriated state assets to the public.

The ORAL Brigade is gaining traction among Ghanaians, with Ayariga asserting that the NDC will aggressively pursue all forms of looted wealth, including state lands, contracts, and properties.

He highlighted the brigade’s commitment to uncovering and addressing corruption, including seeking value-for-money audits and halting inflated contracts.

Ayariga stressed that this initiative will persist beyond the elections and will target any official—regardless of their affiliation—who engages in corruption.

Demonstrating their resolve, ORAL Brigade members recently protested at the Finance Ministry, voicing concerns over alleged financial mismanagement by the current administration under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
