Ghanaian screenwriter and entertainment journalist Osarfo Anthony has been named a judge for the 2024 US Presidential Service Center (USPSC) Film Festival. Anthony’s appointment comes after a rigorous selection process that began with his application a year ago.

They monitored me for almost a year before giving me this appointment,” Anthony explained.

As a judge, Anthony will collaborate with a distinguished panel of international experts in screenwriting, filmmaking, and cultural studies. The panel’s role involves evaluating and selecting the winners, finalists, and runners-up for the film festival, which will be held in Glover, North Carolina.

The USPSC International Film Festival is renowned for celebrating films and series that focus on the first families and White House stories. The festival also emphasizes supporting emerging filmmakers by providing opportunities for funding and production.
