“For 8 Years I Was Off Social Media Because of Insults” – Mr. Beautiful

Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful, a renowned Ghanaian actor and outspoken supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has disclosed the reason behind his departure from social media.

In an interview with Merqury Quaye, Mr. Beautiful attributed his exit to the harsh criticism and insults he faced after publicly endorsing former President John Mahama. “For eight years I was off social media because people just came there to insult me, just because of my affiliation to John Mahama and my declaration of the 2016 election,” he explained.

The actor, known for his role in the TV series “Ama Ghana,” revealed that he rejoined social media and has since received uplifting messages and apologies from fans who previously insulted him due to his political stance. He shared a heartfelt apology from a lady from Takoradi, a stronghold of the opposing party, who regretted insulting him and sought forgiveness.

Mr. Beautiful is currently promoting his new song, “The Gamechanger,” which supports the NDC’s presidential candidate and explains the 24-hour economy policy. He is on a radio tour, engaging with listeners and sharing his perspective on the policy’s benefits.
