Two unidentified men, suspected to be in their late thirties, have been brutally murdered and set ablaze by a mob in Gomoa Dasum, a community in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

The charred remains of the men were discovered in front of the Gomoa Dasum Community Center.

According to Isaac Egyir Junior, the Unit Committee Chairman of Gomoa Dasum, initial reports indicate that the victims were violently attacked by local residents using stones and sticks before being set on fire.

The incident has stirred significant concern within the community, prompting local leaders to address the issue. Nana Kojo Atta, the Kyidomhene of Gomoa Dasum, has urged the youth in the area to steer clear of criminal behavior to prevent further violence and unrest.
