Mahama Vows to Accelerate Industrialization for 24/7 Economy

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has made a significant pledge to drive industrialization in Accra, with a focus on Amasaman.

Mahama’s promise comes ahead of the December 7 general elections, where he aims to secure the presidency and implement his vision for Ghana’s economic growth.

During his campaign trail, Mahama visited several constituencies, including Amasaman, Domeabra-Obom, Trobu, and Anyaa-Sowutuom, to share the NDC’s key policy proposals.

In Amasaman, Mahama outlined his plan to designate the Amasaman-Suhum stretch as an industrial zone, attracting investors to establish factories and operate under the 24-hour economy policy.

This initiative aligns with the NDC’s proposed 24-hour economy policy, aimed at addressing Ghana’s unemployment challenges and stimulating economic growth.

Mahama emphasized that the industrial zone would offer a convenient alternative to the Tema industrial area, encouraging investors to set up factories in Amasaman.

He assured the people of Amasaman that his government would provide the necessary support to make the industrial zone a success.

In addition to his industrialization drive, Mahama reaffirmed his commitment to improving the implementation of the Free Senior High School policy.

He acknowledged the challenges facing the policy and pledged to address them, ensuring that every Ghanaian child has access to quality education.

Mahama believes Ghana can achieve significant economic growth, reduce unemployment, and improve the standard of living for its citizens.
