“A Vote for NPP is a Vote for Posterity” – Prince David Osei

Actor Prince David Osei has publicly backed the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the lead-up to the general elections, calling on Ghanaians to support the party as a choice for prosperity and advancement.

At the NPP manifesto launch held in Takoradi on Sunday, Osei voiced strong support for the party’s leadership, particularly commending Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his contributions. He asserted that the NPP offers the bold solutions needed to positively project Ghana and unlock its full potential.

“A vote for the NPP is a vote for posterity. I understand that times are tough, but it’s a global challenge,” Osei said, acknowledging the widespread economic difficulties affecting countries worldwide, including the UK, the US, Canada, and neighboring Nigeria.

He cautioned against voting for any other party, suggesting that doing so could lead Ghana into severe difficulties. “The alternative is not the solution. The alternative will send us into an abyss of disaster,” Osei warned, emphasizing his belief that the NPP is uniquely positioned to advance the nation.

Osei also highlighted the relief measures implemented by the NPP government during the COVID-19 pandemic, including free electricity and water, as well as financial support for small businesses. He pointed to advancements in digitalization under the NPP, such as the digital property address system and the Ghana Card, urging voters to take these accomplishments into account.

“Vote for progress. Vote Bawumia. Vote Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the incoming president,” Osei urged, expressing his confidence that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership will build on the progress achieved by the current administration.
