Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has reaffirmed his dedication to delivering on all his commitments to propel Ghana forward.
Speaking at the party’s manifesto launch in the Western Region on August 18, Bawumia promised that, if elected in the 2024 elections, he would implement policies designed to spur economic growth and national progress.
Bawumia emphasized his vision for Ghana focuses on creating opportunities for every citizen, particularly the youth.
He highlighted that priorities under his leadership would include digital innovation, infrastructure development, and job creation to enhance the living standards of Ghanaians.
He also committed to investing in education and healthcare to foster a resilient society. Bawumia assured that every campaign promise was made with careful consideration to address the country’s urgent issues.
The Vice President pledged to uphold fiscal discipline, combat corruption, and promote government accountability to restore public trust in institutions. Acknowledging the economic hardships faced by Ghanaians, Bawumia expressed optimism that with effective leadership, the nation could overcome these challenges.
He promised to collaborate with stakeholders—including the private sector, traditional leaders, and civil society—to ensure successful implementation of development plans.

“We have documented our pledges to demonstrate our commitment to the social contract with the people of Ghana,” he stated. “This exercise shows that we have honored many of our promises, and with the chance to lead, we will implement impactful, forward-looking interventions to advance Ghana’s development and open new opportunities for everyone.”
