Accra is Set for Kingdom Live World Tour with Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin

The city of Accra is bracing itself for a monumental gospel music event as Grammy-winning group Maverick City Music and internationally acclaimed contemporary gospel artist Kirk Franklin bring their Kingdom Live World Tour to town. The highly anticipated concert is scheduled for Sunday, August 18, at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Christ Temple East.

At a press soiree held at the ICGC premises on Wednesday, August 14, Ghanaian artiste Luigi Maclean shared his expectations for the event in an interview with Channel One TV. “A graceful heart… Worshipping… There is always something new [Performance]… so as they expect, they should come with a graceful heart because they are going to experience the presence of God like never before,” he said.

Luigi Maclean will be joined by fellow Ghanaian artistes Joe Mettle and Team Eternity to thrill patrons with their performances. This marks the second time Kirk Franklin will be performing in Ghana, while Maverick City Music makes their debut in the country.

The 19-time Grammy-winning urban gospel singer, Kirk Franklin, is scheduled to arrive at Kotoka International Airport on Sunday, August 18, ahead of his performance at the Teshie branch of the ICGC on the same day.
