Mahama Urges Ghanaians to Choose Experienced Leadership Over Unproven Candidates

- Mahama advised voters
John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, has made a forceful appeal for his re-election in the December 7 elections.
The former President asserted that Ghana needs a leader with proven experience to tackle its economic issues, rather than someone untested.
Speaking at a community event in Juapong, Volta Region, Mahama emphasized the NDC’s focus on advancing youth development.
He advised the youth to accept financial offers from politicians but to make a wise decision at the polls.
“Politicians will offer money before the election. Accept it if you need it, but when it’s time to vote, remember the eight years of hardship, hunger, and poverty. Choose the government and president who will truly improve our nation,” Mahama urged.
He criticized the “try me” approach of current and aspiring leaders, noting, “In 2016, they promised to deliver results in four years, and now others are making similar promises. The youth can’t afford to experiment anymore. We need a leader with proven experience.”
Mahama concluded by stressing that returning to experienced leadership is crucial for creating a better future for Ghana’s youth.
