Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice-presidential candidate for the upcoming 2024 elections, has asserted that their potential victory is solely reliant on divine intervention.
During the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Mount Olivet Methodist Church in Lagos Town, Takoradi, Dr. Prempeh underscored the necessity of seeking God’s guidance in their campaign to secure a third consecutive term.
“The possibility of success hinges entirely on God. Nothing can be achieved without His involvement… As I tell my party, while strategic planning is important, having the Methodist Church’s support will ensure our victory,” he remarked.
He further emphasized, “Regardless of opinions, it is only God who can turn the hearts of people and influence their votes. It is through God that we gain favor and inspire leaders to become better.”
