Arsenal Women have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Swedish forward Rosa Kafaji from BK Hacken.
The 21-year-old has penned a long-term contract with the Gunners and will wear the number 16 shirt.
Kafaji, who has impressed for both club and country, scoring 28 goals in 61 appearances for Hacken and earning nine caps for Sweden, joins Arsenal following their departure of long-serving striker Vivianne Miedema.
The young forward expressed her delight at joining the club, stating that she is eager to continue her development and compete for major honors.
Arsenal manager Jonas Eidevall has been a long-time admirer of Kafaji and believes she possesses immense potential.
As the Gunners look to build on their recent successes, the acquisition of Kafaji is seen as a significant step in maintaining their status as a top-tier women’s football club.
