The Ghana Commission for UNESCO is proudly participating in the International Youth Day Conference, held at the Pentecost Convention Center in Gomoa Fetteh, Central Region. The conference, organized by the National Youth Authority, is themed “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development”.
This event is a collaborative effort, partnering with esteemed organizations such as the United Nations in Ghana, UNESCO Ghana, UNDP Ghana, UNFPA Ghana, UNICEF Ghana, National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme-NEIP, and UN Volunteers Ghana. The conference aims to empower Ghanaian youth to take the lead in driving sustainable development, leveraging digital pathways to create positive change.
UNESCO Ghana has expressed enthusiasm about the conference, describing it as “an inspiring day filled with energy, ideas, and impactful discussions”. Youth from across Ghana have gathered to share their perspectives, ideas, and innovations, showcasing their potential to lead the charge on sustainable development.
