Ghanaian musician Mzbel has publicly declared her support for former President John Dramani Mahama, the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as he prepares for a tour of the Volta Region.
Mahama’s four-day tour, scheduled for August 13-16, 2024, will see him engage with grassroots supporters across all 18 constituencies in the region. His itinerary includes door-to-door interactions, market-to-market conversations, lorry station chats, broad-based community mobilizations, and rallies.
Mzbel shared details of Mahama’s tour on social media, expressing her strong support for his candidacy. Her decision to campaign for Mahama has come as a surprise to many Ghanaians, given their rocky relationship during the 2020 elections.
