Ghanaian actor John Peasah, best known for his portrayal of Drogba in the popular TV series YOLO, has called attention to an outstanding promise made by Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia regarding his medical treatment.
On August 2, 2024, Peasah took to Instagram to express his appreciation for Dr. Bawumia’s earlier visit to his office and his subsequent visit to Peasah’s home. In his post, Peasah thanked the Vice President for his support, stating, “I want to use this opportunity to thank the vice president of the land @mbawumia for honouring my visit to his office and also to thank him for the visit to my house and the support.”
Despite appearing well, Peasah, who has been grappling with demyelination for over two years, continues to endure severe and unexplainable pain. He used his social media platform to remind Dr. Bawumia of his promise to assist with arranging medical treatment abroad. “I might look better but inwardly I’m in excruciating pain…this pain is not explainable!!! Please, I want to remind him not to forget his promise for my treatment outside…Thank you,” Peasah wrote.
