Deputy Finance Minister Dr. Stephen Amoah has advocated for entrepreneurship to be made a compulsory subject in Ghana’s senior high schools and tertiary institutions.

He believes this will foster a culture of innovation and job creation among the youth.

Speaking at the third annual Financial Economics Seminar, Dr. Amoah emphasized the role of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth and stability.

He called for increased government support to nurture entrepreneurial talent in the country.

Prof. Atinuke Olusola Adebanji, a key speaker at the event, echoed the need for a conducive environment for young entrepreneurs to thrive.

She stressed the importance of government policies that empower and support the youth in their entrepreneurial endeavors.

The seminar, organized by the Financial Economics Institute Africa, brought together experts to discuss economic challenges and opportunities in Ghana.

By integrating entrepreneurship into the educational curriculum and providing necessary support, the government aims to cultivate a generation of young business leaders who can contribute to Ghana’s economic development.
