Chelsea have accepted a £33m bid from Atletico Madrid for midfielder Conor Gallagher.
The England international had previously rejected a new contract offer from the Blues.
With Gallagher’s contract set to expire next summer, Chelsea decided to sell rather than risk losing him for free.
The club opted for the lower offer from Atletico over a higher bid from Aston Villa, preferring a move outside of the Premier League.
Gallagher now has the opportunity to negotiate personal terms with Atletico, but it remains uncertain whether he will accept a move to Spain.
Other English clubs, including Tottenham, West Ham, and Everton, have shown interest in the 24-year-old.
