A man, believed to be in his thirties, has been found dead near an Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) transformer at Suhyen in the New Juaben North Municipality.
The incident occurred on Tuesday, leaving residents shocked.
According to the New Juaben North Municipal NADMO Administrator, Darlington Tabi, the deceased is suspected to have been electrocuted while attempting to steal from the transformer.
The body, yet to be identified, has been sent to St. Joseph Hospital for autopsy.
The Effiduase Police Division has initiated investigations into the tragic incident.
