Hearts of Oak Boss Vows to Strengthen Squad

Hearts of Oak Executive Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV, has pledged to build a competitive team for the upcoming season.

The club narrowly escaped relegation in the previous campaign and is determined to improve its on-field performance. While the Phobians have made significant strides in infrastructure with the recent completion of their new commercial centre, Togbe Afede acknowledges that a strong squad is equally important.

He emphasized the club’s commitment to assembling a talented team capable of challenging for honours. However, he also acknowledged the challenges involved in building a competitive squad, including the limitations of the transfer market.

Hearts will have an opportunity to test their readiness when they face Heart of Lions in the Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup on August 11.

The club’s fans will be hoping that the new-look team can deliver success on the pitch to match the impressive progress made off it.
