“Marriage Doesn’t Interest Me, I Will Find a Man to Impregnate Me” – Aba Dope
Ghanaian TikTok sensation and lifestyle influencer, Aba Dope, has opened up about her unconventional views on marriage and her plans for the future in a recent interview.
Addressing her relationship status, Aba Dope candidly stated her disinterest in marriage, emphasizing that the concept no longer appeals to her given the high prevalence of divorce and breakups in contemporary society.
“In the olden days, I used to be inspired by our parents’ marriage rites, how they stick together through the pain, the hard times, and all that. But in our generation now, I’m speaking for myself, I am no longer inspired,” she explained during the interview.
The host of Onua Concert Party and CEO of Food Gist described marriage as a contractual obligation and ritual, expressing her primary focus on her business ventures and financial independence.
Despite her aversion to marriage, Aba Dope revealed her desire to have children in the future, highlighting her intention to do so on her own terms when she feels ready.
“In jest, I will find a man to impregnate me,” the curvy model humorously remarked when discussing her plans for starting a family.
Many of Aba Dope’s TikTok followers resonated with her perspective on marriage, sharing similar sentiments and personal experiences in the comments.
Aba Dope, who completed her nursing training in Ghana and served at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, further disclosed her educational background, mentioning her pursuit of a nursing degree in China and subsequent return to Ghana to practice.
Beyond her social media influence, Aba Dope is also recognized as a successful restaurateur with three establishments across Accra, employing over 50 young men in various capacities.
