Diaby Set For Saudi Switch

Aston Villa winger Moussa Diaby is on the verge of completing a £50.4m move to Al-Ittihad.

The French forward is currently undergoing a medical in Saudi Arabia before finalizing the deal.

Diaby joined Villa from Bayer Leverkusen last summer for a club-record fee but has opted for a move after just one season at Villa Park.

Manager Unai Emery has sanctioned the sale and is looking to reinvest the funds in the squad.

The club has already brought in several new faces, including Jaden Philogene, Samuel Iling-Junior, Enzo Barrenechea, Ian Maatsen, Lewis Dobbin, and Amadou Onana, as they look to build a squad capable of competing in the Champions League.
