The Electoral Commission (EC) is set to appear before Parliament on Friday, July 19, 2024, to provide an update on its preparations for the upcoming 2024 General Elections.
The meeting, convened in response to parliamentary requests, will be held in the chamber to assess the EC’s readiness ahead of the polls.
Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Andrew Asiamah Amoako, announced the session during Thursday’s proceedings, emphasizing that it will be a respectful inquiry into the EC’s progress towards the December 7 election, where Ghana will choose its presidential and parliamentary representatives.
