The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has received a significant boost ahead of the December 7 election, thanks to a generous donation from the party’s running mate, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. She presented logistics worth millions of Ghana Cedis to the Central Regional Office of the NDC in Cape Coast.

The donation includes 25 brand new motorbikes with helmets, hundreds of branded NDC T-shirts, bags of rice, and other essential items. These motorbikes will be distributed to party communicators across the constituencies in the region to enhance the campaign’s effectiveness.

Prof. Opoku-Agyemang emphasized that this initiative reflects her commitment as the running mate to prioritize the welfare of party members and all Ghanaians. She urged party faithful to work diligently to bring the party back to power.

The running mate expressed concern over the mass exodus of Ghana’s youth leaving the country in search of better opportunities abroad. She urged Ghanaians to rally behind the NDC’s flagbearer, John Mahama, to effectively implement his visionary 24-hour economy plan.

This plan promises to create more jobs for the youth and improve lives. Prof. Opoku-Agyemang highlighted the Women’s Development Bank, a project aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs. The bank will cater to small-scale businesswomen, such as hawkers or anyone who does not depend on huge capital to run their business.

The project aims to nurture and grow women-owned, women-led businesses. The Vice Chair of the Central Regional Office of the NDC, Mr. Ekow Okyere Panyin Eduamoah, expressed gratitude for the generous gesture.

He encouraged all party members and well-meaning Ghanaians to vote massively for the NDC in the upcoming general election. Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang is calling on citizens to voice their concerns and vote out the challenges that have plagued the country’s economy.

She urges Ghanaians to vote overwhelmingly for the NDC on December 7 to enable John Mahama to restore the economy. This donation is a significant boost to the NDC’s campaign efforts in the Central Region.

The party is poised to capitalize on this momentum to win the upcoming election. With Prof. Opoku-Agyemang’s commitment to the welfare of party members and Ghanaians, the NDC is confident of victory in the December 7 poll.

The donation has energized party faithful and reinforced the NDC’s commitment to improving the lives of Ghanaians. As the election approaches, the NDC is poised to capitalize on this momentum to win the presidency and parliamentary seats across the country.
