Ghanaian Afrobeats sensation Camidoh delivered an electrifying performance at the Sandton Convention Centre, leaving the crowd in awe at the Legends and Legacy Ball. The event, organized by Imagin and Fusion Global, aimed to celebrate artistry and democracy in South Africa.
Camidoh, exuding energy and enthusiasm, treated the audience to a string of his hit songs, including the chart-topping “Sugarcane.” The crowd was entranced by his stage presence, cheering and dancing to his music. Other performers at the event included Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Mafikizolo, Zinhle, King Promise, and DJ Lord OTB.
This performance comes on the heels of Camidoh’s appearance at the 2024 Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards in Los Angeles, USA. He has also been on a media tour in Ghana, Nigeria, the USA, and other parts of the world, promoting his latest single “Nothing Lasts Forever.” As part of his efforts to solidify his relationships, he has visited the offices of Audiomack and music rights organization BMI.
Camidoh’s new song, “Nothing Lasts Forever,” has resonated with music lovers, becoming the unofficial heartbreak anthem. Produced by Camidoh, Nawtyboi Tattoo, and Baba Wood, the song offers a candid look at the ups and downs of love, advising listeners to approach love with logic to avoid the pain Camidoh has experienced.
