15 England Fans Arrested Despite Mostly Calm Euros Outing

Despite a mostly well-behaved showing from the 25,000 England fans who traveled to Dortmund for the Euro 2024 semi-final, UK police confirmed the arrest of 15 supporters.

The arrests came before the match, when a group of England fans were attacked by Netherlands supporters in the city center, resulting in minor injuries to five individuals.

UK police, present to collaborate with German authorities, reported that the incident was swiftly controlled with their assistance.

Thankfully, the post-match atmosphere remained positive, with no major issues reported following England’s dramatic 2-1 victory. The win propels them to the Euro 2024 final against Spain in Berlin on Sunday.

The match itself saw the Netherlands take an early lead through Xavi Simons. However, England fought back quickly, with Harry Kane restoring parity in the 18th minute.

The winning goal came in stoppage time from substitute Ollie Watkins, who capitalized on a pinpoint pass from Cole Palmer.

With a historic win in their sights, the England team and their fans now turn their attention to the final in Berlin, hoping to bring home the Euro 2024 trophy.
