The New Artiste of the Year at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards, King Paluta, takes the stage at the prestigious Ghana Party in the Park. Held at Oak Hill Park, the event will also feature Olive the Boy, a nominee for Best New Artiste, alongside notable artists like KiDi, Wendy Shay, and Tulenkey.
This collaboration between Charterhouse, organizers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, and Akwaaba UK, organizers of Ghana Party in the Park, aims to provide a global platform for Ghanaian artists to showcase their talent. According to Robert Klah, Head of Communications and Public Events for Charterhouse, “The UK is the 3rd largest music market in the world… we are keen on getting our Best New Artistes on the stage of the Ghana Party in Park.”
This year’s event marks a significant achievement, with both King Paluta and Olive the Boy performing to a diverse audience of approximately 10,000. Klah expressed his gratitude to Dennis Tawiah and the Akwaaba UK team, stating, “Kudos to… Akwaaba UK. We look forward to more of such partnerships.”
This partnership not only supports the growth of the Ghanaian music industry but also establishes a positive reputation for the country’s music scene globally. The exposure gained from performing at this prestigious event can lead to collaborations, record deals, and opportunities to perform on even bigger stages.
