Nick Imudia, the former CEO of Konga, a prominent Nigerian e-commerce platform, has tragically ended his life at his residence in Lekki, Lagos.
Imudia, who was currently serving as the CEO of D.light, a company specializing in solar energy solutions, allegedly jumped from the balcony of his apartment on the night of Tuesday, June 25.
According to sources, before the incident, Imudia had made calls to his brother in the United States, instructing him on the distribution of his assets in case something happened to him.
He also spoke to his young daughter from a previous relationship, reassuring her that he would always be with her, visible in the sky.
Imudia’s sudden death has left his friends, family, and colleagues in disbelief, questioning the circumstances leading to his decision.
Originally from the Ika South local government area of Delta State, Imudia had previously been married, although the relationship ended due to irreconcilable differences.
Prior to his role at Konga, Imudia held significant positions at TCL/Alcatel and Microsoft Device and Services, contributing to his esteemed career in technology and e-commerce sectors.
